Jmin's Posh 21st in Ferringhi Garden

Dearest readers,
My babe- Jmin's (sleeping partner in Langkawi who tortured me. LOL) had turned 21st last month. We couldn't celebrate with her because of me. My fault. She told us how she spent her 21st b'day, by sitting alone in the library in UNIMAP, Perlis. Awww.. and thus I decided to make it up to her by throwing her a fine dining experience. Discussions was made with  Janet on where to kidnap her to. Janet traveled from KL on Wednesday night just to be able to  celebrate with her on Thursday night. Janet was in charge of where to bring Jmin whereas I'm in charge of booking a bouquet of roses. "Fulamak, romantic giler"

I made her a card. I used days because I was lack of inspiration or should I say I'm challenged artistic-ally. Furthermore, I got a hard time deciding the colour of the bouquet wrapper as well. I didn't want it to look cheapskate. So much for a Virgo. I ended up picking vintage theme for the flowers and it turns out really beautiful. "Please clap hands"

Jmin's is having her internship and she got off work around 6.00p.m. while we took the whole day to get ready. Janet made her a card with nice pictures while I ironed all of our dresses and I swear I would not open a bridal shop unless I am sure that I have an ironing lady. I hate ironing especially long long dresses. LOL. Anyway, me and Janet dolled up and we picked up the flowers and hid it in the car booth to prevent her from seeing ze flowers. I almost trip and fell on the mesh of my dress a few times.

Upon reaching her house, we let her wear the handpicked dress. At first she find it really weird with all the mesh. Fashionable Janet says while Jmin kinda banned the idea. She said "It looks funny". Janet couldn't care less and make her wear em'. Janet does Jmin's make up while I did her eyebrow because Jmin didn't want Crayon Sin Chan's eyebrows. If you get what I mean.

After the dilly dally it's time to depart as the booking was made at 8.00 pm. Too late because it's 7.15, I called and postponed it to 8.30. Janet was really hyped up in the car as she's famished. Jmin was tiny bit excited but in a worn face due to the long hours of work. Heh :P

Janet got the idea where is it but didn't know exactly where is it. It's near Park Royal Hotel but both of us didn't know where's the Park Royal hotel and we couldn't discuss it because it would sort of ruin the surprise and we had to use initials to address the venue. "It's near PR" Lame I know.

The bad thing about the venue is that it didn't have a proper carpark and we had to park a lil' bit far. P.s. We were in stilettos and I have to go back to the car and get the flowers and the mesh is not helping. It's also located beside a mosque and I felt disrespectful because my dress weren't appropriate in my opinon. I'm so sorry.

Disgusting is what you gonna name it when I say, we exchanged our heels while we were ordering just so that I can walk to the car to get the flowers before I fall down and die of humiliation. I'm not gonna die of humiliation of falling down but we'll just humiliate ourself by exchanging our(Me and Janet's) heels'.

After ordering, I sneaked out to get ze flowers. OKayyy, I got the flowers, what am I gonna do with the flowers, rang Janet to prepare to video Jmin's expressions and post it in Instagram. I waltzed in and gave her the beautiful bouquet. I think the video failed cause Jmin did a Thai renowned thank you sign using her hand. Too speechless for words she said only the word Thank You along with the Thai hand gesture. "Khorp Khun Khar"

She was really surprised and then she had finally forgiven us for not showing up in UNIMAP to surprise her. Heh :D

The soup is really good. I would give a 4 + 1/2 because it's a bit salty.

It was a fun night to begin with. Jmin was the princess having a chauffeur who drives a sports car. The sad part is that she has to go work the next day. Her Daddy said that we don't have to come back so early thou. HAHAHA. We wanted to keep her longer but well- she has to work. Janet even ask her to give us one of the "first time in life" which is clubbing. hahaha. We shall wait and see. I'm sure we'll have them in the future. ;)

Diploma Life (Backtrack)

Good evening my fav readers :D Howdy?
A life preview session in today's blog post which is my Diploma life. I found a card which was made by Amanda Ng which is so beautiful, so it sparks me to do a post about my interesting life as a newbie college student back in 2010. Directly after Form 5, I studied in Penang Branch Tunku Abdul Rahman College. There's one thing I know when I first step into the college compound was 98% of the population were Chinese. I didn't know it was a "Chinese" college till then. I never knew the population of younger generation was so huge because my Primary and Secondary school is so small in comparison to this. I've chosen this college because it was far more affordable than Inti College though I paid a registration fee of RM100 for an accounting course which I had vague memories about it today. HAHA. 
I stayed in hostel for the first semester and later on I drive back and forth. They'd even let me rest in the hostel thou I no longer stay there. My housemates were so good. Great cook, understanding, doesn't hover. I miss their cooking! >.< 
The enrollment started with an Orientation Week where there's ice breaking session and games. I got to know people outside of my accounting course because it's a mixture of people from different courses. We even went for a beach side BBQ and a Steamboat/Tepanyaki session. It was really random and all of us parted in ways.

Awesome Foursome

Purple Dino is back. I was on semester break, still am. Holiday is awesome. Met some new friends and we'd hang out every Tuesday. Tuesday's outing never been so awesome. The four of us including myself got together in a weird way. Atles, a friend from NS, hell he's never in my Squadron nor he's a friend before NS. I couldn't even remember how we've met. Iris, a mutual friend from my two favorite "b_tches". Iris is a super honest boyish girl. Jmin's childhood playmate due to her parents and Iris's parents are close friends while Janet knew Iris since primary school time. Last but not least, Stanley, a mutual friend of Iris and Atles. "He looks better without his specs on"

I literally got into conversation with Iris and Atles through Twitter and we've been planning to meet up after I go back to Penang. And finally I got the chance to chill with them in BED, Autocity. That's where Stanley came along. LOL. We chatted and chatted and bamm. Like we've known each other for years.

The last week before I headed back to KL, they started to miss me so much that we meet almost everyday even when it's not Tuesday. LOL. *touched*

We would usually party in cars especially in Iris's and Stanley's car. Usually being Iris's K5 and Alphard. I even get to drive Kia Optima K5 from Escape to the Teluk Bahang Dam. Toyota Alphard from my house to Sg Rambai. Honda Accord from Sentosa to BM town then back to my house. After a good pester, they let me drive. Weeee! I'm good at this. I even got praised to be able to do side parking really well for a girl. BAHAHAA. *Self absorbed moments*

Something that I didn't see myself doing was going to the Escape Theme Park with them. I am honestly afraid of heights. Thanks to Yi Hui and Janet dragging me to sit Space Shot in Genting twice back in Form 5? It's like committing suicide each and every time I need to let go of the pulley.

Our hang out was so crazy that there's once where I disagreed on going Penang so I tried to steer the steering to Autocity's directions but failed. Iris noticed and reacted so fast that we are heading Penang. I was pouting but none of them care. LOL. We ended up visiting China House. A cafe renowned for its cakes- Carrot Cake especially. And then Marshall Burger thou I can only see. Blame Stanley. *sobs*

We even went for tea breaks in the evening for the renowned "Tut Tut Peng" in Permatang Tinggi. It's Nestum with a bit of Coffee and Chocolate. Super smooth texture, I suspect he "tarikk" the drink. It was worth the wait though the weather aren't very helpful these days. After the tea break, we would go to Atles's house and play with his exotic pets. He has two parrots, a Kingfisher and a Star Tortoise. I miss his pets so much. Our bond grew closer as time goes by.

The night before I headed back to KL, we hang out for one last time. A day trip to Penang. I was complained that I never let a song finishes before switching into other songs. What to do? I was sitting in the passenger seat and I have the autonomy to do it :P *Bite me* It started with sour mood as Iris waited for us for quite some time. She was tired, hungry and thus cranky. I did my very best to act cute and cheer the mood. I am so adorable. *Pinch* We finally visited Micke's Place in Love Lane where we ordered a vegetarian spaghetti/ fettuccine and a lamb chop. I took the opportunity to leave a mark on the wall, more like vandalizing the wall of Micke's Place (Legally). We then headed to The Mugshot for bagels and yogurts, the food was average in my opinion but we had so much fun stating our offense in the chalk board mimicking a mugshot and taking tons of pictures.

We then head for dinner to Hainan Western Food with a new friend JKeat. They were they are out of salad. But the price is really really cheap. A rib eyed steak for only RM20. *Drop jaws* We partied in the car with Diane sticking her head out of the car through the sun roof. We were blasting the music so loudly that people stare at us. Who cares? Live while we're young. We went Nueve, my first visit. It was so empty cause it was only 9.00 p.m. Drank Somersby Apple Cider Beer. Played cards.

These new people are superly crazy. Atles being the least crazy. Staying calm but always in his happy bubble zone. Iris is random. She rings me up and asked "Kia, Tut Tut Peng". Stanley being in love with cars especially Audi A6. Sharing a lot bout cars and modification of cars. They showed me a side of myself that I don't know it exists. Being spontaneous. Taking risks. Live life. Gladly, you can stalk my Facebook if you wanna add them or what-so-ever.
