And Off to Langkawi We Went- Day 2

Salam my friends. Continuing from my previous blog as I mentioned earlier, it would be about the day 2 spent in Langkawi Island.

Oh my. I couldn't sleep much as well in Geopark Oriental Village hotel. Jmin was doing her kung-fu thingy in her sleep. I simply cannot predict her attack at all. We took two single beds. I am not willing to budge over to sleep in the middle. NO WAY! You see, I'm sick and I simply cannot stand Janet turning her body around like what she did in Jmin's hostel. So, Jmin has to be the one sleeping in the middle with two beds lying side by side. You see, the edge of two mattress is not as soft as it seems *I mean, it's super hard* HEHE. Jmin's has to sleep in the middle. I don't know how she does it. All I know she was behaving like a earthworm. Wriggling throughout the night to find the right angle to sleep peacefully. Unfortunately, she couldn't find it. And who is the victim? ME.  It's because she was sleeping closer and closer to me. In the morning, her head is beside my toes and beside my face was hers. A funny image appeared when I get up from the bed. She was savaging the bits and pieces of blanket from both of us (Me and Janet). When she finally woke up, she told us that she couldn't sleep. Poor lil' girl.

I was really excited because we will be spending our day in Pulau Payar. I've never been there before and I wonder, would it be as nice as Pulau Redang that I had once visited back when I was in Form 4. Questions kept popping but stayed unanswered. Somehow or rather, as the time slowly passed, all of us got excited on which bikini's to wear and what to wear on top of our bikini's. I've chosen a green safari looking bikini (now that I look back, it looks a lil' bit like Tarzan and Jane)  and I paired it with a low V-neck white dress. Jmin chose a white sun dress and Janet chose not to reveal her body. :P

We are the women in white. Now where is the Men In Black? O.O
Well Hello There! Rise and shine! The driver of the day: Jmin :D I finally get to rest and really enjoy a real vacation.

Serenity. Bathing under the warm sunlight.

*Looks at my handphone*. Omg. It's 8.40 a.m. We are running late. We were supposed to reach 8.50 to the counter to redeem our waterproof wristband as a pass to go on board onto the boat. Oh no. I was panicked, again. I'm the one who cannot keep calm most of the time. I'm an easily agitated person. Bleh~ We ran, I mean half-running which with Jmin holding our 2 bottles of 1.5 litres of mineral water, a small bottle of Merlot, a can of heaven and earth's passion fruit drinks in a black plastic bag. AND THEN: The black plastic bag decided to give up on us. The handle tore and PIANG~~ The soda can of passion fruit juice decided to commit suicide onto the tar road. It's 'Blood' was gushing out like an Aorta had just burst. And my heart shattered into pieces. I LOVE THAT DRINK okaaayyy! Nuff' said.

We've made it! Weee!
We finally gotten' our wristband and we were hungry. I was hungry eventhough I had a slice of bread. So much for a pig appetite. We went to find the nearest available shop for some food. We ended up in a mamak shop eating Roti Canai, two Roti Telur, Warm water, Iced Milo and we take-away 3 packets of Nasi Lemak. That is the thing, you see, you need to bring extra food, snorkeling would burn so much calories and you'll constantly be hungry. Buying extra food from Pulau Payar would be costly too, says Car Agent we met on the first day of arrival in Langkawi. Such a sweetheart isn't he? Telling us how to save more money. :D

The lack of sleep/ worn out face/ unprepared pose.
I was hungry but insufficient appetite to swallow a cow. Nope. Not yet. You wait.

The breakfast costs a RM18.50. I was really surprised. Pricey. :X Ahh, then again, we're on vacation. Who cares. :D After we had almost finish eating, I suddenly saw people/the tourists, with the wristbands similar to ours moving to the Jetty in a herd/group. We just followed the crowd. Not a very smart move but consider smart also LAH~ Well, at least we didn't miss our boat :P Even you have to agree with that. Bueks!

Pause and took a picture with the crowd. I personally believe that the aunty on the right in black wants to look nice in the picture. HEH :P

We're finally on board! WOOHOO!

Jmin said that she would want to take the 45 minutes journey to recharge her body since she was sleep deprived. The rocking of a boat as it glides across the ocean waves which I find it really peaceful and I fell asleep almost immediately. No motion sickness for me but Jmin suffers tiny bit of it. Time really flies. As we were given the buoyancy aid, it shows that we are arriving real soon. AND walahhhh~

Pulau Payar. Such a real beauty. An island full of corals. Mini sharks. And fishes.

We are so ready to jump in. *splash*

We were given a very short briefing on the Do's and Don't while we are snorkeling. As usual, I listened attentively. HEHE. Nahh.. It's not my usual attitude when it comes to me listening to lecturers and tutors.  We are not allowed to hand feed the fishes especially the sharks because there was once a case where someone lost his finger to a shark. Creepy huh. However, if you insists on feeding the fish, you can still do so but from a distance, for example, standing high above on the jetty pathway and feed the fishes. That was what I did. Furthermore, if you're confident enough to swim without the buoyancy aid, you can remove it by all means but the company will not be responsible for any damages suffered. Okay, nuff' said.

Briefing took place by experts and divers. I find them really good looking. All tanned up, so macho weii~ *drools*

Come on! Hurry! *Super excited people*

*Drop jaws literally* How can you not love this?

Is the water clear enough for you yet? Can you see those fishes? (If you're naughty, I'll throw you in the sea and let them feast on you kay?) :D

Okay, I'll have a summer house here as well. Number ## house in Purple Dino's life.

You see: Why do I say pictures are deceiving. Jmin's eyes is quite big but the Sun shone so brightly at her that she cannot open them properly. *me loves nagging*

Before we went into the water, we did some shots with us and the bikini's. I find it a bit overly revealing and thus I will not be sharing it here. Don't frown laaa~ I don't have Megan Fox's body shape yet. When I have it, I'll show you kay? :P
She's enjoying herself alright. Went snorkeling alone near the far end to the maximum limits. We were worried sick if she had drowned. Ugh. :P
Heaven on Earth. Pulau Payar is a must visit if you travel to Langkawi Island. Clear blue sky, translucent sea water, what more can you ask for? Perhaps a Martini or Mojito would be splendid?

And this would be me. Secret: I'd got a problem staying afloat even with the buoyancy aid. I don't know if I'm heavy or I just can't grasp the right way to do it.

I'm not bluffing when I say it's me since I looked really tiny in the previous picture. A close up for you to see. :P

Someone's hungry and someone's tired. Leaving someone went snorkeling alone. Try to guess who went snorkeling and exposing herself to the sharks. :P

Well of course it is me. I'm so calculative about the RM100 that I decided to snorkel as long as I could. XD Stingy.

Our lunch box. I love the dessert: Chiffon cake. It's included in the RM100 package.

I would like to come to this island if I were to shoot any MV for my upcoming album. LMAO. *dreaming mode ON*

Would it be nice if there were some mermaids sitting on the rocks. I'm sure guys would love my idea ;)

The crab behaving Like a Boss!

Ehhhh~ Sexy Ladehh~ Op op Op Oppa Gangnam Style

I'm sho cute. Ain't that right? :D

Spot that shark yo'! On the right!

We have to get ready by 2.45p.m. because that's the time we have to depart from the island. One of the least expecting thing is that, the public toilet has no fresh water. Means all the water from the pipe that you use to flush the toilet bowl and the tap water are all salt water. :OO. Nevermind. I managed to live. Skin looks better too when we use sea water to wash our face. No kidding! :D

I was bugging Jmin because I want to take pictures with the professionals. Ain't they look real macho? :D

All tanned and tired. Feeling the exhaustion already. Pheww~

Seizing the opportunity to take pictures with the wonderful scenery. I just can't get enough of it. :D

I'm so pretty. *flips hair*

We said our goodbye to the beautiful island. Such a well spent day! <3

We weren't even so "kia su/stingy/whatever name" that we even went snorkeling on the other side of the beach which is not our boat's territory. Fuishh.*like a boss*

The other side of the beach. :D Glad we intruded anyway. :P

I'm feelin' the Megan Fox breeze in this picture. Do you? ;)

Her right side is empty. Any takers? :P  Ji Ji(her bf) can fit right in :)

Sun burnt skin.

Oh stop kissing me. They'll notice.

Say CHU ><~
Clown Fish!! An army of them. Woahh~

Our boat.

Us three. Actin' as sweet as we can be. HEH :P

We got special treat from one of the crew that he invited us to board on the deck. It's actually a private place for the divers and crews to rest. But we get to be part of it. Sitting in the first class. Phewwit! AND GOD, the view is superb!

"I Wanna Scream and Shout And Let It All Out~" Will.I.Am and Britney Bitch

The boat with the passenger's buoyancy aid facing the Sun to be dried up.
I wish to fly sometimes into the clear blue sky. Though I also wish to dive right in into the deep blue sea.

Chillin' on the deck!

Colgate advertisement! Shiny teeth. *BLING*
This would be Pulau Dayang Bunting. It is believed that women who wished to be pregnant, can try to bath using the water there.

The destinations for the activity of Island Hopping for RM35. We didn't participate in it.
Oh! We arrived back to the Langkawi Jetty. That's my boat there on the left. :P

We were hotel-less when we came back from Pulau Payar. All our luggages was in our rented car. And off we went for hotel hunting. We had one hotel in mind, Region Hotel, located near the Jetty. It is also the place where Jmin's Unimap friends are staying. While we were on the way, we went McD to grab some quick tea. Feasted in the car, with me unwilling to start to drive cause I'm busy munching my Beef Burger. That is what snorkeling does to you. My appetite was switched on to the max! We spotted Region Hotel. We went in and asked for the price. RM70, reasonable, with 2 queen sized bed, water heater, Tv, Air con. Nice~. We took a long shower and lazied around the hotel until dinner time.

Our waterproof wristband. :D
For dinner time, we went to the local night market and the souvenirs was really expensive. We bought nothing and we started to enter duty free shops. I literally drop jaw when I saw the price of the liquors and chocolates. Moet and Chandon at the price of RM190 when in Mois, it costs around Rm600++ per bottle. Ferrero Rocher 30pcs for RM21.50 when in Aeon Jusco, the price is RM28.50. I didn't miss the opportunity to buy a bottle of Absolute Vodka Original for RM34. I then checked the price again when I'm back here and it was RM144. I would like to retire in Langkawi and get drunk every weekend!

Dinner time finally arrived and I'm hungry. Now I can swallow a cow! We are all broke because of the Pulau Payar trip and the money we set aside to buy chocolates for the very next day. We chose to eat from a Mamak Stall and guess what. The food is damn tasty and CHEAP! We ordered tomyam campur RM5, Kai Lan Ikan Masin RM3.50 and 2 Telur Dadar for RM3 and 3 plates of rice. Our bill was only RM15. How cheap is that? :D

This is how the shop looks like.

We went back to the hotel feeling full and happy. At first we wanted to invite Jmin's friends over to play cards. But we were rejected. Oh well, nevermind. We slept peacefully and soundly that night. :D

To be continued in the next post. Day 3 in Langkawi :D Stay tuned. :D
