Dare to dream..
Many would say why not? It's not like it is the end of the world. Well you're talking to me. A bit shy when it comes to standing on the center of the stage and sing. I love singing (no doubt) and I sounded not bad. Good actually. okay, maybe MORE than that ;)

Yea yea yea, the gigantic, smiley purple dinosaur who sings I love you~, you love me~ We are happy family~". *who gives random hug to random kids* #pedofile much?Reason for that name? A virgo friend of mine wrote stories and I'm one of the character. AND I picked the name. So now you see.

I'm in the middle, wearing Baju Kurung. *the one having middle parting hair* |
I discovered the talent of being able to sing during Standard 4(I'm like whatt - 10?). A music class- it's a test and everybody needs to sing and my teacher would grade our singing. I'm not sure if the syllabus is still applicable in the school at this very moment. hmm..
It was my turn and I sang "Sometimes" by Britney Spears. I only sang one part. At the end of it, my teacher said, "that's all ah?" with a slight hint of why don't you continue a bit more. I remember clearly that the big round of applause I've received was quite- how should I say? FANTASTIC? From that day onwards, I was a legend. HAHAHA!
Let's fast forward my stories shall we?
Hall of fame #1: To sing on the day of one of the teacher's retirement. I was freakin' nervous as you can see. My choice? Mirror Mirror by M2M. Used to be one of my favourite <3. The performance was okay. I'm not sure how I sounded like. buahahahahha.. well, at least the entire primary morning session knows my existence already. TEE HEE.
Hall of fame #2: In my NATIONAL SERVICE CAMP year 2010.
I pulled a prank on a friend and it backfired. I've suggested her name to a list of names to sing. THERE WERE 10 NAMES FOR GOODNESS SAKE! Yea, you had guessed it. Her name was called upon.
"Nandeyo?!"
There were still some nobility in me I must say. Thus, I put up my hand and admitted that I suggested her name.
You must be wondering why didn't I suggested my own name? NO WAY! There were 400people out there. Students consisting both males and females.
To compensate for my action, I went on stage and sang "Close To You" in Kenny G version. I preferred The Carpenters version actually. But the choices of discs are limited and VIOLA! I did it again. This time I had feedbacks, I was not loud enough apparently.
My second chance came by (it was by force actually- the teacher called me) and then again I sang "Aku Bukan Untukmu" by Rossa. IT WAS THE BOMB BABYYY! They clapped so loudly and I'm like sho sho shy... ><. Received a lot of "wow" & "good job" & "you sounded real good" when I return to my seat. *clears throat*.
I was quite proud of myself. Am still proud. AND I'm very grateful with the gift of being able sing. I shall slowly learn to embrace it and let it shine. What do you think?
Signing off with love and kisses. Mwah.
