And Off to Langkawi We Went- Day 1

<3 11th and 12th of January 2013 <3

Greetings from a super high Purple Dinosaur to all of you. I know it's been a while since I came back from my Langkawi Island trip, but I'm still resting. Thus, I've taken an immeasurable time to recover from lethargic-ness from a long vay-kay-tion!

We sat bus to Jmin's uni in Perlis. UNIMAP. Great place. I love that University. Though I couldn't really rest properly because the seat was narrow. There were two double seats in a row. I'm so used to sitting in a single seat when I travel back to K.L. and I have to bear with this for a two hour journey. Got kinda pissed with the driver as the bus was also late. And And, we missed the stop. Shell, Simpang Empat. HAHAHAHA. Looking back I find it really funny. I knew we had to get down no matter where we were. We walked like people from the city who got lost in the middle of nowhere and there's only a long road, leading us to the town. *Hyperbole* The most welcoming shout-out we were greeted from drivers and bikers was : Ah Moi! Wo Ai Ni. And off they run: weeeee~

Jmin was really smart. She spotted our Plusliner bus and said: I am very sure they are on the bus. And then she called me, I didn't pick up the phone as I was panic-stricken since we missed our stop. LOL.
And bla bla bla, at last we got down and started walking and then we saw two shadows walking towards us, Jmin asked a friend to accompany her to pick us up, JJ. He introduced himself as JJ Lin Jun Jie. HAHAHAHA. I'm glad that she had someone to accompanied her. It's not that it's dangerous, I mean yes, it's dangerous. At night. Too quiet and it can become really creepy. Wooooo~

The University's hostel was really new. All of Jmin's housemates were there. They went home only on the next morning. I couldn't sleep. It was really hot. Maybe I didn't wear as comfortable as I can be to enable myself to fall asleep. This is where you wish to fall asleep instantaneously because you were so grumpy being awaken by the slightest noise.

Imprisonment to keep the tiny insects off.
Finally, I fell asleep at 3 a.m and we need to wake up by 5.30 a.m. Did I mention to you I was really tired due to an advance spring cleaning at home before the departure? So now, you can imagine, hahahaha. I'm so sorry, I might bore you guys with my grumpiness for first 5 paragraphs but I promise it'll be fun. LOL

Waking up at 5.30 a.m. with Jmin walking up and down searching for her things. She's blur due to post exam stress or maybe she's just blur. :P I took a quick shower because there was no hot water and I woke up when the cold water hits my face. *Brrrrr* We finally stepped out of the Uni and our taxi's were here. Weeee. Excited mode: On!

We are ready! lml
We reached the Jetty around 6.45 a.m. and started to line up to purchase the tickets. Sadly, the earliest ticket which is on 7.30 a.m. was sold out, thus, we bought the next trip, which is at 9.30a.m. We dilly dally had our breakfast. I had Roti Canai Kosong and a set of half boiled eggs and a cup of barley drink. After that, we even intruded a hotel near Jetty to borrow their toilet. Outrageous.*Like a boss*

What happens when you leave girls with beautiful scenery and a camera? We started to cam whore.

SWAG level 99
The Girls
9.30 arrived and we packed up and get ready go on board.

My luggage was the backpack and a handbag.

Smiling happily like they were given candies.
In the boat. Couldn't sleep much actually. JJ Lin is the person behind Jmin. Heh :P
After an hour or so journey, we finally arrived in Pulau Langkawi. Home to the renowned Mahsuri's Legend and the Great Dataran Lang. <3 <3 <3
Three cutie pies.
SWAG level 200.
We were pursuit by a male, 20/30 years old on the rent-a-car package. The great thing is that not only that, he has other great packages as well. Snorkeling in Pulau Payar only cost us RM100, inclusive of the two-way tickets and a meal and the snorkeling gear and buoyancy aid. Not bad at all. We gotten a Proton Saga, new, but not FL model for a reasonable price at RM140 excluding petrol for 3 days.

Off we go traveling to the nearest restaurant for a hearty meal as a celebration of our arrival. A chinese coffee shop serving wantan mee, keoy teow and economy rice. I had economy rice with 3 dishes for RM6. Pricey but it's how it's priced over there. Mamak meal would be slightly cheaper.
Tam Jiak face
The view while I was driving. *Captured by Jmin*
Legend became myth. Here we are in the Mahsuri Exhibition Center/ Mahsuri Mausoleum. I'm not sure which was it. All I know is that the entrance fee is RM7 and it was well spent. We girls love history. There were pictures and storyboard explaining everything. I felt a bit closer to Mahsuri's life.

Boo Yahh~
Adik nak pergi mana?
Grind grind grind.
Yea. We are that bad ass. :P
Now do you get me when I say it's worth the RM7? :D
Peaceful and undisturbed heritage.
I like ze windows. Great workmanship. Lot's of patience needed.
Mahsuri in the making. LOL. Baby's invi level 1000.
Awaiting for their prince charming. They'll come soon enough. :D
There's this well and it is believed that if you were to wash your face with the water from the well, you will be awet muda. Forever young. Or also, any of your wishes will come true. I was curious and thus I went and asked a Mak Cik: Why is it that it will come true? She said: It's the niat (Intention). Good intention and the effort to travel from afar to visit this place. I Oooh-ed and Ahhhh-ed.

Ze well.
We didn't miss any chance.
We paid our respect to her. :)

2nd Destination of the day: Permandangan Indah. It's basically a  roadside with a birds-eye-view.

It exists in the map and you can check in there too. LOL
*Yawn*. Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
The picture says it all.
Snap. Snapping. Snapped.
3rd Destination: Beras Terbakar. Nothing much to visit actually. Was a paddy field but when the war came, our Laksama or Bendahara decided to set the paddy field on fire to prevent the resources to fall onto Siam hand.

Lot's of souvenir shops.
Tadaa!
The story.

On the way to Geopark Oriental Village. Before we reached, we saw lots of yacht. Pronounced as "yought".

4th Destination: Off we go to Pantai Kok, to check in into our hotel. Geopark Oriental Village, next to the cable car ride. Got decoration mimicked the Korean Series of Winter Sonata.
I was sweaty and not smelling appealing I suppose. Better take a quick shower before the cable car ride.
Told ya. Ala Korean.
Korean in Langkawi. How awesome is that? O.O
Our room for RM 128. We booked online for Agoda website. Apparently, we were overcharged. Ah, nevermind.
I looked like a ghost. But the photographer's friend was really really good looking. Was imaginatively drooling over him. Awwwww~
"You gotta be kidding me". I was having sweaty palms. Yesh, I'm fear of heights.
Take a gorgeous picture and keep calm. (Chivas Inspired Quote) LOL
Let me Down!!! NOW!!!
I love the view. God-Like view. Bird's eye view. Great view. But I couldn't concentrate because in my brain, all I could think of is when will I fall? And it's like only a matter of seconds I'm going to hear the scary machine malfunction noise. *PARANOID*
Amazed. Simply amazing
We arrived onto a station high above. I'm alive!!! *still paranoid*
I know you'll agree with me that the height is too much. Too much for an Acrophobia person to handle. :P
I don't want to come down. I'll have a house there. I'm just kidding.
Great architecture. Perfecto.
Opposite us would be Thailand. Koh Lipe Island.
The skybridge was closed. I was relieved. XD. But the girls wanted to visit it. Too bad. HAHAHA
It took my breath away. Have it taken yours yet?
Kate Moss in the making. :D
Gisele Bündchen in the making. LOL
Rosie Huntington in the making. :D
My turn to Swag.
Outfit of the other half of the day. Confusing?
The arrival of Her Royal Highness with her Strawberry Ice-Cream. :O
The next Charles and Keith ambassador. Buahahaha.
I don't know why I did that but I know it looks stupid. :D
Sexy mustache.
This is what happen when you don't let me down. *Sweaty palms* For Malaysian citizens the price for the cable car ride was RM15.
And we finally landed safely. :D
Frosty the Snowman~~
Jmin found out this man cheated on her with another girl. Quoted from her: He's mine!
Look what we have here. Tokyo in Langkawi. WOAHHH!
Aneong-ha-sae-yo
Pretty deco of the tree with a pretty lady.
We're too hot for you to handle. LMAO!

My new pet, Rabbit!

5th Destination: Air Terjun Telaga Tujuh. HEHEHE. We managed to hike halfway only because we weren't wearing the proper shoes. We also didn't manage to play with the water because we didn't bring extra clothes. And AND camera ran out of battery. :( We only managed to take pictures with the Iphone only. T_T stay tuned. :D

The waterfall sound. Calms us down pretty quickly.
6th Destination of the day: Perdana Quay. I bought a bottle of 500ml Merlot  for RM13 from a nice looking shop in Perdana Quay. Wanted to drink it but my sore throat don't allow me to.
Outfit of the night. Acrylic Shawl.
Such a talented photographer. ME! <3
To be continued..  with Day 2 and Day 3. Stay tuned. :D

Envious Love

Hey guys, I'm in a very happy mood right now. Probably because of the last minute shopping with my mum in Jusco, and she was behaving like a kid, running around, disappearing while I lined up in the 8 Nos and below counter. I later found my mum queuing to buy Sundae Cone. I was like WHERRRTTT. My mum and her childlike age. Munching on the ice-cream while smiling like a toddler.

Naked face in the cold storage section. *Brrrrr*

Fattening stuff: BUTTER and the MARJERIN

Oh yesh, back to my topic about picture of my life. As I was watching the Asian Food Channel at 7.30 p.m., there's this show by the title of 'Fresh with Anna Olsen'. The host, Anna was preparing some food for a picnic with her husband Michael in some quiet place (I suspect it's a golf field). She prepared a mix caramelized nut, some tortilla, mixed nut cookie, coleslaw and lime juice.(That's not the point, stop drooling).

At the end of the preparation the camera crew followed them to the picnic place, they were sitting down, enjoying the food and suddenly Anna said "I love you". Michael said "I love you too and your cookie". At that point, I promised myself that I will have this life. It is so sweet and loving, both Anna and Michael were not at the age of 20, but roughly 30-40. It seems like they are enjoying the stable relationship kinda' love. I felt envious. I envy them. Life is not about chasing dream car, dream house or everything branded, it's about having amazing relationship. The give and take relationship, where there are arguments but settled in a rational way. Compromise.

It's the passion in a relationship that keeps the sparks alive.

Signing off feeling weird. HAHAHA
Good night y'all :D

Pre-Langkawi Trip

Omg omg omg. I mean, hi there. This is gonna be so really short post regarding about my excited-ness.

I'm leaving BM town Friday night. Off to Kangar to visit my long lost girlfriend. Jmin. Awww. I miss you sho sho much :P I hope she is gonna do well in her math exam in the morning instead of daydreaming of the fun we were going to have. If not we were to be blame. *woots*

I didn't even started packing my stuff yet. Hell, I didn't even washed my clothes yet. The one I intended to bring. Nuff said!

I'm wishing to recover as soon as possible. Terrible weather and thus having this bad sore throat. Or maybe I drank too much the other day or maybe I ate too many fried stuff. You can't have too many maybe when it comes to me. *Bite me :P*

I shall gulp down as much of honey drinks as possible with my medicine. Ohm~~~~

Bikini, sunscreen, T-shirt and shorts shall be in my knapsack as soon as possible. I wanted to bring sunglasses, what do you think? Sunglasses gives you the *vacation look* like the "ah-mo-kao"/ Europeans appear in the advertisement. *Cun saje"/ Banyak Cun / Cun giler*

I personally blame the medicine. I'm a lil' bit high right now. Just a tiny bit. Please bear with me.

To those who are traveling, please remember to take safety precautions. Be careful in the new environment. Respect others culture and be considerate because we are more than civilize people. Last but not least, have fun! Live your life like there's no tomorrow :D

Don't envy me kay :D

With love <3

Chivas Night Magnum Launch Party @ Mois

Hey there peeps! How are you doing? Anybody who is hangover like me?
*Scream and shout WOOOOOOOOOOO!! (using high-pitched voice)*
I partied so hard last night till 3a.m. this morning. *still in the high mood*

And the funny thing is I slept at 4a.m. and I woke up at 8.15a.m. I went "Dim Sum Yam Cha" somemore. *Yesh, please salute me*

It was a great event or shall I say, I seized the opportunity and have fun all the way. The party got hyped up around 1 a.m. You know how is it with me and dancing/shaking like I'm on pills. I am not on pills you moron. :P
I don't get it why wouldn't people want to go to the dance floor.  That is where all the fun begins. Dancing like there's no tomorrow. Shake shake shake.

Stolen this picture from www.chivalrystyle.com

We got into the VIP zone with the purchase of 1.5 litre Chivas Regal's blended scotch whisky for RM500. There's a picture booth before the entrance and you get to take pictures with the "Silvermen". Male models painted silver in colour, wearing silver hat and holding a bottle of Chivas. Super adorable. *Of course me and Janet took the opportunity* We even got interviewed by the Chivalry Crew about Chivalry. Do you know that Chivalry means gentlemen? Now you do. :D

Say Hi! :D

Upon entrance, we are given a goody bag each. There was a half silver mask and a cute shiny bow. Unfortunately someone took mine. *SOB SOB*

The Mask of Zorro! *Cut signature "Z" into the walls*

Around 11 p.m. we went in but it seems like the whole house is bare with only around 20 people in it. I thought to myself: where are you people yo?

Decorated Chivas <3

I really like the taste of it. I even tried it without Pepsi but I decided I like it with Pepsi better. It's smooth. *Gulp*

There was picture competition too. By posing creatively with the silvermen and we got a chance to win a bottle of Chivas Regal.

We didn't win. HAHA. Not being creative enough.

Me and Janet posed with the silvermen. I took his hat and wear em' as mine while I duno what Janet does in the picture.

DJ Lizz was not bad. I liked the Bo Jio song. It's Fantabulous! HAHAHHAHA

Special appearance was Leng Yein Jie. She was seated right behind our table. I didn't know she would come until a friend told me about it by reading it in Facebook. And yesh, I did took a picture with her. I LOOK EFFING FAT WEI. T__T

Sadly, this is the only pic I took with her.
Oh nevermind! Fat then fat la. *I blame the angle* NGEK!

Kept dancing all night long and meeting new people. Super fun. Met gay people. They are super nice. Me <3 them! lol. All new friends are super nice as well. :) It's a pleasure meeting all of you. The party ended around 3.00a.m. with me bidding farewell and giving hugs to my friends. The journey to home begins.

Yea I was super high. Taken while we're on the Penang bridge.

Blasting the music until.....

I saw...

ROADBLOCK! and my driver doesn't have her license. lol.
We kept calm. So close. Phewww.

We arrived home safely, and a friend called to see if we're home safely. How thoughtful of him. Thank you :)

Before the party, we sat outside and took tons of pictures.
Here it is:

I am new to this action snap. LOL

BAHAHAHHAAHA!

Big eyes and flat nose.

This post will be updated with the picture and interview session when www.chivalrystyle.com upload them. I hope you had fun reading. It's basically what happened for the entire night.

I would like to thank the POU Team for inviting us there. And everyone I danced with.
Thank you all!

Signing off with love and feeling grateful,
Purple Dino.

Big 20th!

It's been so long and I have yet posted my 20th Birthday celebration. Being 20 is somehow a big thing I guess. I am a young lady. Someone said "Welcome to the club".
I felt old. Gosh~. Pictures have been uploaded in my Facebook centuries ago.

My two girlfriends celebrated with me. They "kidnap" me using my car and brought me Deluxious Restaurant for a buffet dinner. A great place I would say. An RM50+/- and you'll get to eat what you want in the special buffet menu. I was really hungry.

Dolled up in a Maroon, Miss Selfridge dress. I was suppose to wear a black dress, but they insisted that I should be the outstanding one as I was the birthday girl. Feeling great but tiny bit sick, oh well, you can't be all pretty without any imperfection.

Off we go in silver Honda City.  Upon reaching, Jie Min and I took a picture on the front porch with the beautiful wedding lookin' arch. Janet says, "later la, after meal." The sad thing was it rained and she didn't get the chance to do so.

We went inside. Great decorations. All quiet and romantic. We act civilized to blend in with such wonderful ambiance. Deep inside we loved to act like animals. Not the barbaric animals, just the noisy ones. For example: Monkeys. Hungry monkeys.

They surprised me with Merlot (Sweetest range of red wine). Miss Janet took it from her house. They hid it in my car. I didn't even realized its existence. :O. Maybe I was too absorb with the question of where are they bringing me this time. Heh.

Upon ordering all the food that we wanted, camwhoring begins. You should see the amount of chicken we ordered. It comes in bite-sized pieces and thus we ordered many types. Ranging from Satay chicken slices, Red sauce chicken slices, Black sauce chicken, I-forgot-its-name-chicken and chicken and chicken. Cream pasta, seafood pasta, seafood platter, fresh leafy salad, small oysters, puddings and ice-cream for desserts.

We took tons of pictures. From every angle. We missed the toilet! Great lighting. NOOO!

Pictures.

Outfit of the night (OOTN)

Headed out to. Penang Island.

Decent.

Cheeky Face.

The dinner ended with us running into the car due to the heavy downpour. Reached home around 11.30p.m. Really early huh for someone at my age. :)

Thank you girls for such wonderful celebration. :) <3 <3 <3

Deluxious Spa, Restaurant is situated near Upper Penang Road. I would recommend this place for small gatherings.

I hope you will like this post. Leave me any comments or questions. I will get back to you as soon as possible. :)
Have a great night.

Great Beginning

Happy 2013 to you hotties with 1-8 abs, buff, and voluptuous, sexy, pretty babes!
How are you my awesome possum people? It's new year. Great beginning are awaiting for us. :)
No matter what had happened in the past, ITS THE PAST ALREADY YO!
Wake up feeling grateful and cheerful. When you are in a good mood, you attract great people into your life. An awesome friend or a life partner whom share similarities.

Well they say, new year new resolutions. I have some of mine which I would like to share with all of you. Laugh all you want but new year resolutions makes us a better person. Please feel free to plagiarize some of mine. Not a problem. *smirk*

#1: Eat less (I will stress on the part where I'm not kidding cause I have been growing sideways. God forbids me to grow tall at this age). Hahaha. Ever since I left my hometown, Bukit Mertajam, I have been eating a bigger portion of food. K.L.'s food is not that bad after all. OM NOM NOM NOM NOM~

+9GAG

#2: Study harder. I need to pass all my examination papers in one shot. My first semester in KL Tarc had proved to me that my quota for studies has reached it's maximum limit. I don't need to prolong my period of studying. This means that I need to double up my effort. There shall be no regrets upon my future graduation day.

#3: Spend less on unnecessary stuff which I think this would be really hard. Not that studying harder is easy. But but, it's my nature to spend. Whoops. They say a leopard cannot change its spots. I will try my very best. I will try! YAH YAH!
Don't hurt your piggie bank. *snorts*
#4:  I will learn to be grateful. Being grateful is so important. A simple thank you after being helped by somebody goes a long way. A sense of appreciation would flutter. I'd like to admit that sometimes I am a ungrateful bitch. So some reminder is needed. *thank you very much*

#5 Love my parents more. They are always there for me. Even when they are not, they care  about the things that happened. You might perceive to see that they don't give a damn, but if you have not become a parent to a child, you have no say in that. You can never know what is on their mind. Thus, you should love them even more.

#6: Do charity. Help those who are in need. A smile is another form of charity. You might not know that a simple smile to a stranger whom had a lot on their shoulder can brighten up their day. You can make a difference. DO IT.

We aren't all Saints but we can be good people who contribute to the society. Technology is improving, thus civilization should too. Not being a barbaric human who slaughters, rape and bla bla bla. Alright i think I got out of topic. whoops

Before I end my NEW YEAR's post, some pictures on how I spent my New Year's Eve.  In a very healthy way- No liquor Sigh... Just kidding. We exercised by going for a 2 hours swim.
I went catching up with great friends who can really talk on almost anything. I've been in a prison of four walls long enough due to examination. I talked and listened non-stop.

The food is simply delicious. A Thai Restaurant in Taman Melati. From left: Winnie, Me, and Wendy.

Two cutie pies and one handsome lad (I was bribed. Kidding): Glorybel, Sok Theng, and Zheng Khin.

Such an honour. A self portrait all by himself. Song Siang. #foreveralone#
P.S. Since we have survived the zombie apocalypse and the end of the world. Have a great new year. Rock it peeps.
Signing off with more love,
Purple Dinosaur- XOXO
