I barely can wake up today because I was so tired from work for the past few weeks. I snoozed a little and said, OKAY! Time to get up. Else I'm going to be late.
I went through my phone just like any morning and I saw 6 missed calls and lot's of Watsapp messages. I first went through mine with Kathy as we were chatting right before I go to bed. The second one was in our J's group chat. Only to found out that our CBM's schoolmate has gone home with Lord.
She was such a tough girl. She was also the Assistant Head Prefect. There was once she come over to my house and we were getting ready to visit another friend BBQ or Birthday party. I was the chauffeur of the day. We were so girly that we had put on some nice perfumes right before we head out.
We were also in the Choral Speaking team where we spent hours per day for practice. She was my classmates for years in both Primary and Secondary. We even had a cheerleading/ aerobic group. We had lots of common activity.
We shared the same House Color and she supported me through all the hardships. Rumah Zamrud. She can be really chatty if she is with the right person.
If my memory was not faulty she is one really tough girl. She would usually pent up her feelings and until she cannot withstand, then only she will break into tears. She is soft spoken but she can be persistent and determined. After graduation, all went on separate ways.
We were all extremely shocked by the fact that at the age of 24, she had left us.
I read the news that was shared by our mutual friend and Facebook status confirmed the incident.
She was a sweet, helpful and non-judgmental person.
If we can be of any help to her during her hardship period maybe this would not happen. No point of pin pointing and finding out now when it is too late. We can only pray for her family to stay
strong during times like this and may her soul find peace wherever she is.
You will be dearly missed.
Take care.
